ASSISTANT QA ENGINEER & QA ENGINEER
Production
Job Summary
Reports to: Manager, Quality Assurance
Department: Production
Assist with all quality assurance matters in QA Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Conducts regular calibration checks on laboratory instruments
- Works closely with suppliers, procurement, production, sales and customers to meet the quality requirements
- Maintains accurate and complete recordings of test data
- Assists the QA Manager in the daily operations in QA Department
- Responsible for maintaining quality management system including incoming and outgoing QC
- Assist in the formulating and implementing of corporate QA systems, programs and activities
- Assist in creating of Product Worksheet (PWS) in company ERP system for production
- Coordinate First Batch Production Trial (FBPT) meeting and supervise first batch production
- Assist in the development methods for inspection, testing, sampling and training
- Assist in evaluating of production capabilities and recommends improvements
- Performs laboratory analysis on raw materials, in-process and finished goods samples
- Assist to investigate and troubleshooting any paint quality complaints raised
- Undertake other job functions as and when assigned from time to time
- Ensure the workplace 5S, safety and security
Job Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-starter, and ability to take initiative and drive towards result
- Experience in formulating solvent free and water-based epoxy and polyurethane floor coating product or other formulation will be advantageous
